Refund Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2025

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for events listed on Outdey. Because many events are hosted by independent organizers, refunds are generally governed by the organizer’s own policy and applicable law. Outdey may facilitate payments and support but is not the merchant of record unless expressly stated.

1) Scope

  • This policy applies to tickets purchased through Outdey’s checkout experience.
  • Organizer-specific terms may add or supersede conditions; always review the event page and checkout details.

2) Organizer Policies and Outdey’s Role

  • Organizers set their own refund windows and rules (e.g., cutoff dates, partial refunds).
  • Outdey provides tooling to process refunds per organizer policy and applicable law.
  • Unless explicitly indicated, the organizer is the seller/merchant of record for ticket sales.

3) Eligibility and Timelines

  • Requests should be submitted within the organizer’s stated window and before the event occurs, unless required by law.
  • If approved, refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
  • For multi-ticket orders, refunds may be prorated to the specific ticket(s) being refunded.

4) How to Request a Refund

  • From your Outdey account, open the relevant order/ticket and choose “Request a refund.”
  • Provide a brief reason and any supporting details. We’ll route your request to the organizer when required.
  • If you cannot access your account, contact us at info@outdey.com.

5) Processing and Fees

  • When permitted by the organizer policy and law, Outdey refunds the ticket price and applicable taxes.
  • Processing and service fees may be non‑refundable unless the event is canceled or required by law.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible.

6) Cancellations and Postponements

If an event is canceled and not rescheduled, attendees are generally entitled to a refund of the ticket price (and, where required by law or policy, service fees). If an event is postponed, the organizer will provide options, which may include honoring tickets for the new date or offering refunds within a specified window.

7) Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer, the process may delay or negate any direct refund via Outdey. We will provide documentation to the payment network as needed. Duplicate recovery (chargeback and refund) will not be issued.

8) No‑Shows, Transfers, and Exchanges

  • No‑shows: Not attending the event is typically ineligible for a refund unless required by law or policy.
  • Transfers/Exchanges: Some events allow ticket transfers or exchanges; see the event page or contact the organizer.

9) Exceptions

Certain experiences (e.g., expressly non‑refundable offers, custom reservations) may have different rules clearly stated at purchase. Where consumer protection laws grant additional rights, those rights will prevail.

10) Region‑Specific Rights

Depending on your location, you may have additional statutory rights regarding refunds and cancellations. This policy is intended to be read in harmony with applicable laws; where conflicts arise, local law controls.
